Alright, so I'm not exactly known for my health-conscious habits. But my wife, she's on this whole juicing kick. Started with those pre-made bottles from the store, but that got expensive quick. I figured, why not, might even get me to eat a few more vegetables.We went with this Fretta Cold Press Juicer, mainly because it looked less like a spaceship than some of the others. Plus, the light blue color wasn't an eyesore in the kitchen.Now, I'll be honest, I was expecting a complicated contraption with a million parts to clean. But this thing is surprisingly straightforward. You basically just toss the fruits and veggies in, and it does its thing. The self-feeding feature is pretty slick – no need to stand there and shove stuff down the chute.The juice it makes is good too. Tastes fresh, not like that processed stuff from the store. And it's surprisingly quiet. Doesn't sound like a jet engine taking off in the kitchen.Cleaning up isn't too bad either. It comes apart easily, and most of the parts are dishwasher safe. That's a big plus for a guy like me who hates doing dishes.Now, here's the thing I'm not crazy about: the pulp is pretty wet. Seems like it's not extracting every last drop of juice. And it's a bit slow. Not a deal-breaker, but if you're in a hurry, you might want to look elsewhere.Overall, I'm pretty impressed with this Fretta juicer.
