This juicer didn't work half as well (or a tenth as well) as the plastic one that I've had for years and am trying to replace (because it's plastic). I did a comparison and there was no contest. The indentions on the gouging part of the juicer were just not very deep and the result was very little juice. It was like trying to juice a lemon with bottom of a ramekin. Maybe not that bad but you get the picture. And to make things worse, to return it, you have to mail it back to China! No joke. I assumed that I could take it back to Whole Foods. But no go. I won't make that mistake again.
